Make our rescue doggies days a little brighter. Woodrock staff (with the help of our rescue animals) have compiled a list of the type of things we need at the shelter. Woodrock Animal Rescue is a non-profit charitable organisation funded through community support. Our important work on behalf of animals is reliant on the generosity of our donors.

WOODROCK VOLUNTEERS have a very important role to play in the rehabilitation programme at Woodrock Animal Rescue. Woodrock Warriors are long term volunteers who assist on Saturday and Sunday morning's with walking dogs, tickle and touch and meeting and greeting our visitors. Woodrock Home Checker Volunteers offer their time to do home inspections, when someone applies to adopt one of our precious rescue animals. If an animal is in need and Vic needs back up he is dependent on having airtime. The driver cell number is 0829613270. You can normally send airtime directly via electronic banking etc.

Do you have some money you can donate?
We need to cover our day to day operating costs through community support. We have salaries, food, petrol, phone calls, data costs, dips, vaccinations, deworming, washing powder, cleaning products, electricty bills, water bills etc. The list goes on and on. Our vet costs are enormous. Animals in our care have our commitment and we provide them the very best care that we can. Most dogs arrive at Woodrock unsterilized and often in need of medical care. They are normally not inoculated or dewormed. In most cases they have fleas. We sterilise all our animals and also attend to the ongoing medical needs for on average of +- 130 of our rescue dogs at our shelter.

Should you wish to remember Woodrock Animal Rescue in your Will, you might wish to take the following wording suggestions for a residuary bequest or a pecuniary bequest to your attorney. They will ensure that your wishes are accurately followed:

(b) the issuing of a receipt by an authorised Office Bearer of Woodrock Animal Rescue on behalf of Woodrock Animal Rescue, shall be a complete discharge to my Executors for the bequest.
