Woodrock Animal Rescue Dreams of a Clinic
ACTA NON VERBA – Action not Words
Changing rescue animals lives - Woodrock Animal Rescue dreams of a CLINIC. PLEASE HELP MAKE OUR CLINIC DREAM COME TRUE!
Woodrock Animal Rescue NPO dreams of a clinic on their premises, where they can medically treat and sterilize rescue animals. In addition the clinic will assist us with our flagship township outreach programme to assist the surrounding communities to care for and sterilize their pets.
Currently Woodrock staff have to drive rescue animals in need of medical attention to vets in Johannesburg (an hour and a half round trip). It is expensive and often stressful for the animals and wastes valuable time in emergency cases.
A clinic at Woodrock will change the lives of many rescue animals going forward.
Can you help our clinic dream come true!!!!! Donate here.

Our Clinic Dream Fundraising Progress
THANK YOU! We have raised R633 786 towards our Clinic Dream as at 30th September 2016! Thank you to everyone who has donated towards our Clinic Dream Project so far.... Whether it was through a direct donation, on our backabuddy pages, our calendar, our book, operation greenland, purchasing a kiss at our kissing booths, or through buying a lock or our merchanduse or by supporting our events - we appreciate it!
We need to get to R1 000 000 to get phase 1 (building of the clinic structure) started. Donate here.
Imagine if we had a clinic based at Woodrock, what an amazing difference it would make!
WE SINCERELY APPRECIATE YOU HELPING OUR DREAM COME TRUE!
We are the voice for the voiceless. We change lives.

Steps to Making the Clinic a Reality
Raised as at 30 September 2016
Woodrock envisages three phases in making the clinic a reality.
Phase 1: Clinic Construction. (Estimate R1 000 000)
This is the building of the clinic walls, floor and roof. The finishes such as the painting, tiles and doors. Connecting the water, electricity etc. This includes 10 000 litre water tanks installation set up and the septic tank and conservancy tank construction.
Phase 2: Clinic Equipment Fit Out (Estimate R750 000)
This is when we stock the clinic with the necessary medical equipment, tools, cages etc. This will initially focus on sterilisations and emergency care only.
Phase 3: Clinic Operations (Estimate R80 000 per month)
This is when we open and start operating the clinic. We will have nurse staff and arrange with vets to work on a roster system. Our clinic operations will initially focus on sterilisations and emergency care (we are excited just typing this)! Woodrock will be able to provide sterilizations and emergency medical care on its premises, to the over 150 animals currently in its care.
Future Vision: Our future vision is for the clinic to become self-sustaining and also service the neighbouring disadvantaged communities.
Currently we are raising funds for Phase 1 - Clinic Construction. (You have to start somewhere!)
Please donate to help make Woodrock’s dream come true - every little bit helps.
